There are many highly rated guest houses that you could choose from in Wilderness. Here’s our small selection of recommendations to suit specific needs.

The Cinnamon Boutique Guest House is upmarket and centrally located, and could even be considered a small hotel. The Cinnamon is recently offering incredible prices given the standard of the accommodation.

Wilderness Manor has just 4 rooms and is situated slightly inland with stunning lake views. A meticulous level of detail has gone into every aspect of this guest house. The photo at the bottom of the page shows the view from one of the rooms.

The Old Post Office Lodge is located right in the centre of the main area of Wilderness, it’s directly above the popular Pomodoro restaurant. However, these rooms offer amazing value for people travelling alone, and good value for couples too.

Other Guest Houses in Wilderness

We only make a small recommended selection above for you to choose from. However this doesn’t mean there aren’t many more excellent Guest Houses in Wilderness. Therefore here are a few more places which currently have excellent recent reviews from visitors.

Right on the beach is Xanadu Guest Villa offering six luxurious suites and beautiful gardens. Haus am Strand (“on the beach”) offers a similar location but with a wider range of different accommodation options.

Moontide Guest Lodge is situated on the lagoon and has a variety of different room types. However it’s still a very short drive or walkable distance to the beach and central Wilderness.

Ibitshi Beach Lodge offers highly acclaimed modern accommodation just across the road from the beach. Ibitshi is located in the Kleinkrantz area on the eastern side of Wilderness.
